Scholastic signs 10 year lease

Scholastic Books, the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, has signed a 10 year lease at the Crossroads Distribution Center (CDC) located in Belleville, MI. The lease is for 65,000 SF of space at the 1.2 million SF warehouse/distribution center. The CDC originally consisted of two 535,000 SF facilities which were fully occupied within fifteen months from the start of construction. A third 106,000 SF building was constructed in 2002. With this lease, Scholastic joins a tenant roster which includes UPS, Steelcase, and FedEx.
