Ashley Capital’s presence in the Atlanta industrial real estate market continues to expand. With the recently completed and fully leased Georgia North Logistics Park Building 2 and Conyers Logistics Center, Ashley’s Atlanta portfolio now exceeds 3.1 million square feet.
Georgia North Logistics Park – Warehouse Construction Update
Georgia North Logistics Park is strategically located in the Northwest Industrial Atlanta submarket, also known as the “Carpet Capital of the World.” This state-of-the-art industrial park is within the growth corridor, 60 miles northwest of Downtown Atlanta and 60 miles southeast of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The immediate access to I-75 is ideal; it provides tenants with reduced transportation costs and excellent visibility.
When complete, this Adairsville, GA industrial park will consist of 3,200,000 SF, developed in four phases:
1) Georgia North Logistics Center 1 consists of 74 acres of land and a 1,000,000 SF proposed building.
2) Georgia North Logistics Center 2, a 766,000 SF building, was completed in January 2020. GNLC is fully leased to Ball Metal Container and LG Hausy.
3) Georgia North Logistics Center 3 consists of a 64-acre lot and an 880,000 SF proposed building.
4) Georgia North Logistics Center 4 includes a 31-acre parcel and a 500,000 SF building that is expected to be completed in late 2021.
Conyers Logistics Center – Atlanta Industrial Lease Update
In October, Ashley Capital completed construction and achieved one hundred percent occupancy at Conyers Logistics Center (“CLC”), a 450,000 SF speculative building in Conyers, GA. CLC was built on a 47-acre parcel on Gees Mill Road, just off of I-20. A global Fortune 500 off-price apparel and home fashion retailer leased the entire space in late December.
