The key responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager are:

  • Seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking, well-organized, and professional employee.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and municipalities. Ensure that project objectives, scope, budget, and timeline are clearly defined and communicated to all stakeholders through all phases of the project.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, bidding, estimating and financial reporting. Regularly monitor invoicing and report project expenses and make necessary adjustments to stay within budgetary constraints.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in commercial building, construction materials and MEP Systems with the ability to direct the project team decision based on best value.
  • Schedule and Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, outlining all project phases. Track and manage site plan approval and permitting. Proactively identify potential delays and develop strategies to keep the project on track.
  • Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among project stakeholders, ensuring everyone is well-informed of project status, changes, and updates.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project, finding practical and innovative solutions.

The successful construction project manager candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven track record of at least 4 years in construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with emphasis on Excel, Procore, project management software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
