Biography
Rick Morton co-founded Ashley Capital with Paul Rubacha in 1984. As principals, Mr. Morton and Mr. Rubacha work closely with their staff to identify value added investment opportunities which meet the defined goals of the firm.
Prior to co-founding Ashley Capital, Rick served as Director of Property Management for the Rosenberg Real Estate Equity Fund (RREEF) and as a General Manager within the Real Estate Department of Prudential Insurance Company. He holds an undergraduate from the University of Richmond and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Morton has attained both the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the Certified Property Manager (CPM), designations.
Rick’s extensive background and aptitude have defined him as a respected real estate professional. He has provided advisory services to a broad range of institutional investors.
Mr. Morton has remained an active supporter of the UNC alumni community.
