Biography
Richard Borthwick is a Vice President of Ashley Capital. Mr. Borthwick’s primary responsibilities are the leasing, acquisition and redevelopment of Detroit based properties as well as the research and development of new market initiatives.
Prior to joining Ashley Capital in 1999, Mr. Borthwick worked with PM Realty Group beginning in 1994 having roles in both Leasing and Property Management and then as a Regional Manager from 1997 to 1999 and had roles in both leasing and property management from 1994 to 1999. During his tenure with PM Realty Group, Mr. Borthwick recognized as the Archon Achievement Award winner for Property Management, by a major client, Goldman Sachs. Mr. Borthwick is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Mr. Borthwick has completed numerous transactions during his employment with Ashley Capital including GM, Ryder, Penske, Roush, Ferguson and MTU.
